This weekend we donated all the funds we raised from our classes to the Luekemia & Lymphoma Society campaign for Man & Woman of the Year. Our grand total this weekend was $342.00!!!! I am in awe of how our classes are growing and the ABQ Yoga Community supports our classes and our causes!
These classes specifically were in support of Danielle Duran's campaign to win Woman of the Year for this great cause. Here is some more information:
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the largest voluntary cancer research agency specifically focused on finding cures and better treatments for blood cancer patients. They touch patients in their communities across the U.S. and Canada and advocate for blood cancer survivors and their families, helping patients navigate their cancer treatments and ensuring they have access to quality, affordable and coordinated care. Each spring, a number of outstanding individuals in our community accept the nomination for Man or Woman of the Year and compete to raise the most money over a 10-week period. Team Believe in the Battle, in support of candidate Danielle Duran and team member (and YogaZo regular) Lisa Goodman thank you for your support of this amazing cause!!
